Grupo Coppel has inaugurated its largest distribution center in Texcoco, State of Mexico, with an investment of more than 1.2 billion pesos. This new CEDIS will improve logistics and generate over a thousand jobs.

Grupo Coppel has invested over 1,200 million pesos in the opening of its new Distribution Center in Texcoco, State of Mexico. With an area of 124 thousand square meters, this center is capable of storing more than 10 million products and supplying stores in seven states of Mexico.

The Distribution Center features state-of-the-art technology that makes it 25% more productive than other distribution centers of the company. It has the capacity to supply more than 225 thousand products daily to 235 stores in 35 cities across the country, which will improve the variety of products available for e-commerce and shorten delivery times to homes.

Agustín Coppel Luken, CEO and president of Grupo Coppel, highlighted that this new CEDIS will allow for faster and more efficient delivery to its customers. Additionally, the center is equipped with continuous product tracking systems and optimization of activities to enhance productivity and generate savings.

The governor of the State of Mexico, Delfina Gómez Álvarez, celebrated Grupo Coppel's investment in the new distribution center, recognizing its positive impact on job creation and the development of the region. This new distribution center also demonstrates the company's commitment to sustainability, with solar panels generating 750 thousand kWh per year and the capability to recycle more than 1,350 tons of waste.
